The Sun

The dawn eclipses the night 

chasing shadow blanketing the land

I follow the darkness 

the sun on my back 

noticing as each step brings forth 

beauty to new light.

Light that spills on to earth 

soaking into the pavement, the mountain, the ocean, and the lake.

Light that spills and

washes away the slumbering masses dreaming away to a new day.

In dawn I am awake 

forbade my tired eyes 

from shutting away 

the beauty of a sleeping giant 

Now shining in sky

like the gates of 

the universe turned on the light

 and encapsulated glimpses

 of heaven shined through a lock. 

I like how warm I feel

 from the sun on my brow 

how proud I feel 

sharing my moments in sun 

Walking in distance in distant places

Unforseen and alien to my tired eyes

I wander

 wondering if these adventures 

would ever stop 

would I want them to ever stop 

would my body ever want me to stop would my heart not ever want me to stop and I just stop

Stop caring that I could stop

and walk bathing in sunlight and swimming

In moments that I could never forget 

Floating through memories that take my breath away

Dreaming

Waking waking
from a daze
My eyes slowed to open in
A Haze.
The Sun carries
Me as I
Lay on clouds
In sky
tucking
Me in blankets
Of sunlight
Warm and
Songful
Lullaby

Rave

Lights so vibrant
 illuminate the room
Bass goes boom
Narcotics
plentiful
 are consumed
smoke clouds filled
this crowded space
Eyes dilate
And sweat pour from face
Rhythm and sound
 possess the crowd
Demons dance
Minds are gone in trance
Sniff sniff white powder does enhance
Chemicals now do mix
 left in haze
Transfixed

Fear

I quicken my steps and I start to run
I breath deeply as I race the sun.

Darkness spreading
its on my tail
I try as I might
Only to fail

I lose all sight
Engulfed in black
Forgotten
And
Lost off track

MOVE forward

I say

Yet slowly i sink
Breathless
No time to think

Imprisoned
For all time
Wishing to undue
Rewind

In dungeon lost
And never
Found

My screams
They echo
With great sound

Unheard by heaven
I am tied and bound
Stay still but dragged
Down
Down
Down



my body quivering
As my soul escapes
Locked out of heaven
Lost from grace

All hope lost
And in my surprise
my soul forever wanders
But never dies.

Daunting in my attempts to break this
Curse
In turmoil
Its turned to worse
Panic drowns me
I've become immersed

I stop struggling released
My fear
Let go my sanity
I held so dear

The Last Days

I tossed a stone in the air
and I shattered the sky
The shards fell to earth
and I watched the sun die

In the chaos I kept on throwin
never letting up
And showed no emotion
Blood rained down
Filling the ocean

Flooding the cities
Drowning
All women and man
Incessant in my task
Never giving a damn


I smiled in enjoyment
Remembering this moment
As the world grew dark
And gloom
Twilight filtered through
a blood soaked moon

And I stood there
alone
All alone
Destroyer of the world
With a toss of a stone

Creeping creeping in my mind
Thoughts that linger all through time
I hope and pine
In life and love

For someone lost
To now be found

Still tie us bound

Resonate our music
Through walls
Through city block

In memory
